The Hearthwood family leaves memory.

At the heart of the family are Arthur “Artie” Hearthwood and Maeve Hearthwood. They are the older roots of Sapphire’s family line, and their influence still reaches through the town in quiet ways.

Arthur Hearthwood had a sharp mind for numbers, land, trade, and careful planning. He helped build the family’s financial foundation, but he never treated money like a trophy. To Arthur, money only mattered when it helped something grow. A family. A shop. A field. A school. A town.

Their son, Rowan Hearthwood, grew into both of them.

Beside him is Elara Hearthwood.

Elara brings color to the family legacy. She is an artist, craft-table keeper, artisan mentor, and one of the creative hearts behind the Morning Market. Her table holds pressed flowers, paper lanterns, watercolor labels, decoupage jars, soap stamps, ribbons, and the small scraps that become keepsakes.

Elara is also close friends with Tom, the town gardener. Tom brings her leaves, lavender, seeds, clippings, and little garden treasures from around Blossom Fields. Elara turns many of those pieces into art, labels, crafts, and memories the children can hold.

Together, Rowan and Elara raised Sapphire Hearthwood with both sides of the family’s heart.
